Properties of steviol glycosides

  • high sweetness but no calories
  • Steviol glycosides have good stability in acids or bases and high heat resistance. In the pH range of 3-9 at 100 ℃ for 60 minutes, there is no change in chemical structure and sweetness
  • Steviol glycosides are an unsuitable medium for microbes. Under normal conditions, there is no decomposition and no production of glucose needed by microbes.
  • Some studies suggest that steviol glycosides have positive effects on blood sugar levels and high blood pressure, as well as antioxidant and anti-caries effects.
